Fortunately for my mom who, despite the skinny jeans, NEVER gave up the wide-leg trousers, the 70s fashion is BACK IN BUSINESS! White, beige or black they always gave an elegant look to a woman, making her body look flawless. Seems like the modern interpretation of the Abba-like style became much sweeter and softer as designers projected their dreams in pastels and soft fabrics.

actually, what most of us consider 70s fashion began in the 60s. Bell-bottoms, the grand-father of wide-leg trousers, first gave the sparkle for the disco era.
