What is photography?

What is photography?

Photography only recaptures monodimensionally what the force of nature already created. But why to we bother to call it an art when all we have today is a symphony of elements combining so much more than just a few lenses and a click?

For some, it seems to be a great pleasure, an unforgettable passion, their life. For others, a way to show to the world what they experienced, saw, felt, have or wore.
In its essence, the MOST authentic way to show life before our life.
But then, we also had painting, sculptures, primitive art...

Looking at reasons for which photography is so important to others, I came to a conclusion for myself:

Photography is here so that WE can put our own soul into what others created,

so that WE can remember what life meant to us in a certain moment,

so that WE can write history, in pictures, from here to the next era.
